The complex is about 700m (almost 1/2 mile) away from the beach, in the centre of Sosua, ten minutes by car to the east of the International Airport of Puerto Plata, and is on the north coast of the Dominican Republic. Around the hotel, there are restaurants, shops, supermarkets, bars and several other leisure possibilities. The Amber Museum, Brugal Rum factory and Ocean World are all within 30 minutes of the hotel.The guest rooms are comfortably furnished in the local style. They consist of a living room with a dining area and two large beds, a fully furnished kitchen with a gas or electric stove and a refrigerator, cable TV with 70 channels of which several are in English. All rooms have a balcony, a sink, and a bathroom with a bathtub and a toilet. The living room and the bedroom both have ceiling fans and the superior apartments are individually air-conditioned.
