This hotel enjoys a superb location, set in its own bay between a lagoon and a superb stretch of sand, with a view onto a sea of surreal turquoise and aquamarine.The unique Gauguin cottages are situated about 80 yards from the beach, near the bird sanctuary lagoon. These comprise two palm-thatched rooms, one for sleeping and one serving as a bath/ dressing room, connected by a sheltered breezeway (covered patio). Alternatively, the modern beachfront rooms provide more conventional accommodation, allowing guests to literally step from the room onto the beach. All rooms have an en suite bathroom with shower and are equipped with a direct dial telephone, a satellite/ cable TV, a king-size bed, a safe and either a balcony or a terrace.

Guests may enjoy warm days spent sunbathing on the 3/4 mile stretch of white sand beach, as well as choosing from a host of water sports or indulging themselves in the full service spa with a massage or spa treatment (both for an additional fee).
