The birthplace of Heredotus, the 'Father of History', ancient Halicarnassus that was renamed Bodrum, boasts an unrivalled past that stretches back into the beginnings of recorded time. How to get there

When arriving from Izmir, take the Aydin Highway and exit at Soke, Bodrum (approximately 100 km from Izmir). Follow the directions to Bodrum (approximately 150 km from the exit). There will be a three way intersection: Yaliçiftlik, Yalikavak, Bodrum. Turn left to Yaliçiftlik and follow the directions to hotel.
