This hotel is located near the centre of Montego Bay, beside the 550 m long beach which is divided by rock jetties into three secluded sections with two swimming coves. The most isolated section is reserved for nude bathing. It is about 15.5 km to Rose Hall Great House, while the airport can be reached in approximately 15 minutes.The rooms are located either in Sunrise or Sunset Tower, and feature a furnished patio or a balcony with views over the mountains or the garden. Tiled floors, pastel shade walls, and tropically coloured fabrics all contribute to the pleasant atmosphere, and standard fittings include an en suite bathroom with hairdryer, a direct dial telephone with voicemail, satellite/ cable TV, and a king-size bed or two double beds. In addition, a writing desk with chair, a safe, and an iron and ironing board are also provided in all accommodation as standard. The air conditioning and heating are individually adjustable.

Leisure options include three freshwater swimming pools, two of which are divided by a swim-up bar. The third pool is kidney-shaped and is well-suited for playing pool volleyball. A children's pool is also available. The Jacuzzi with sea views has enough room for up to 25 persons, and is the perfect place to let worries melt away while enjoying the sociable atmosphere. In addition to a sauna, a steam bath, and massage treatments, guests may take advantage of the gym with its range of sports equipment, weights, and aerobics courses. The on-site Pirate's Paradise water park, which is completely dedicated to the pirate theme, offers relaxation for both children and adults. Shoot down the 10 m high, almost 80 m long water slide or visit Buccaneer Beach, Blackbeard's Lazy River, the Caribbean Pirates' Paradise Fort, the waterfalls, or two raised Jacuzzis. A range of land and water-based sports and games are also on offer, including paddling, sunfish sailing, kayaking, snorkelling, beach volleyball, basketball, giant chess, draughts, and many more. Guests may test their reflexes and sharpen their skills at shuffleboard or improve their tennis game on one of the four championship courts. The English tea time in the afternoons allows guests to enjoy a moment of relaxation. Alternatively, it is possible to try one's luck at the slot machines, get to know Jamaican cuisine at a cookery course, or take part in one of the adventure or sightseeing tours organised by the staff here. The evening entertainment with Caribbean shows, fashion shows, and a beach party, provide additional amusement. Thanks to the activities, sports, and entertainment, nobody will have the chance to succumb to boredom here. There is, however, always enough time left over to relax and enjoy the Jamaican sunshine.

Guests may dance the night away with their favourite songs in the Galaxy nightclub, which is also a good place to meet other guests. Two souvenir shops ensure that the perfect memento will be found. Leave the airport and drive westwards on the motorway in the direction of Montego Bay. Near the centre of Montego Bay, turn right into Howard Cooke Boulevard. Turn right again into Southern Cross Boulevard and then right once again into Sunset Boulevard. Then continue straight on until reaching the resort.
